Spider veins are small, thin, blood vessels visible beneath the skin. They appear most commonly on the face and legs and may look like a series of lines, tree branches, or a spider- or web-like shape with a dark center. We offer advanced laser technology for both spider veins on the face and spider veins on the legs. How the laser works: the heat generated from the laser coagulates the blood inside the spider vein, causing it to collapse and seal. Over the 4-6 weeks of treatment , the spider vein will gradually disappear and all the blood will be removed by the body’s scavenging cells. Some common side effect is a slight redness for a few days following the treatment. These laser treatments allow the delivery of a precise dosage of energy to each blood vessel without injuring any nearby tissue. Depending on the size and number of veins, an average of 2-6 treatments will be needed.
